First week behind us.

I enjoyed a wonderful day yesterday with Isaac. We snuggled and talked lots and lots. I have to be careful about how I ask questions or he shuts me down. He shares lots. It is obviously an enjoyable program for him, but lots of adjustment. He is not much of a sitter and prefers to stand for activities rather that stay seated in a chair. He is beginning to talk more about friends by their names. He has expressed that he doesn't like doing group time, the most structured part of his day. Rest time is a struggle for him since it is completely foreign to him without his pop and without me or dad there with him. The second day Mrs. Sims said he could bring a stuffed animal to help him rest. Apparently Turtley didn't do a good job being quiet and talked a lot. We spent lots of time talking about being quiet and that he is the one talking even if he is pretending it is Turtley. The third the teacher said it was some better. On Friday I did not a report from the teacher about nap, instead she told me that he told her she was the best teacher in the world. Funny boy. As we were pulling away, Isaac offered that rest time did not go very well! I asked if his teacher wanted him to remain quiet, he said yes. I asked what she said to him about it, he said nothing. I asked about the other teacher. He said she said also said nothing, just looked like "this". I could not see him so I asked him to tell me what she looked like. "like she saw a very scary monster!"

I am still excited but do miss him while he is gone.

Saturday we saw a friend from school at chick fil a. His mom said he talks about Isaac all the time.
